MANUS/NUT2.0
Thanks to the efforts of an ongoing project, MANUS (Managed Ansible-based, Network UPS Service) offers a one of a kind protection against power outages. Built on top of a Github Project – “NUT” (Network UPS Tool), allows a “dumb” UPS to orchestrate the safe shutdown of services and servers during a power outage and even notifies users via SMS/email of remaining UPS power.
With several dozen virtual machines running concurrently serving at least a dozen users, Tycloud DC has time and time again proven excellent uptime, resiliency, and the ability to scale with end user need. Largely in part due to on-premises, redundant power for all data center hardware and routing equipment as well as a nearly seamless integration into AWS for failover routing. Clients are logically isolated from each other and continue to receive excellent service for all their computing needs.
